McElhanney seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for its Fort St. John Engineering Division. You will develop civil designs, manage projects, and coordinate technical work. Projects include utilities, roads, bridges, culverts, water, wastewater, and infrastructure upgrades across the region.
Key Responsibilities: Produce engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil projects
Develop concepts into plans using Civil 3D and technical software
Manage planning, budgets, schedules, clients, and project coordination
Prepare approvals, estimates, tenders, contracts, and project documents
Support construction management,



field reviews, and safety leadership visits
Requirements: Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university
Five to ten years of relevant civil design experience
British Columbia Skilled Engineer registration or eligibility
Experience managing designs, schedules, budgets, and client communication
Effective people, client, and project management skills
