As Director, you will provide day-to-day account support, develop client relationships, and lead engagements for diverse clients. You will work across public affairs, government relations, stakeholder relations, and communications. The position emphasizes strategic counsel, team leadership, client service, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement public affairs and government relations strategies
Navigate government decisions and processes for client mandates
Build relationships with officials, associations, influencers, and experts




Write and edit persuasive government relations and public affairs content
Monitor policy and political developments affecting clients
Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ politics, public service, government relations, public relations, or journalism experience
Understanding of government functions at municipal, provincial, and federal levels
Demonstrated client relations and project management experience
Strong writing, communication, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to manage budgets and work under pressure
Bring strategic government relations, stakeholder engagement, and communications expertise to client mandates at Proof Strategies across Canada.
