The BASIS/RISE Lead oversees technical infrastructure for SAP payroll solutions. This role manages system environments, performance, security, recovery, and maintenance. It also coordinates RISE deployment, SAP BTP integrations, and international payroll support.
Key Responsibilities: Manage development, quality, and production payroll environments
Configure parameters and tune payroll system performance
Coordinate RISE deployment with SAP Cloud Infrastructure
Oversee high availability and disaster recovery configurations
Plan Unicode migration and code page conversions
Requirements: SAP Basis administration for payroll systems
Experience managing SAP BTP payroll integration components
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance requirements
Understanding of capacity planning and resource utilization
Knowledge of international character support for payroll
