Design mining infrastructure, pumping systems, and industrial mechanical equipment with BESTECH as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Occasional client-site travel and field visits are required.
This senior engineering position supports detailed projects across underground and surface mining infrastructure. You will develop practical mechanical solutions, review documentation, and guide multidisciplinary delivery. Your expertise will address piping, dewatering, equipment specification, construction methods, and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities: Design underground and surface mining mechanical infrastructure
Develop pumping, piping, and equipment specifications
Conduct field inspections and assess existing systems
Approve technical drawings and maintain QA/QC processes




Coordinate project meetings and resolve technical challenges
Requirements: Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering bachelor’s degree
Canadian Qualified Engineer designation or equivalent registration
At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience
Knowledge of codes, standards, and industrial applications
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access
