This manager oversees hands-on accounting and reporting across early-stage and growth-stage clients. The work includes founder advisory, audit readiness, financial operations, and client engagement management. You will partner with experienced CFOs on complex accounting and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle accounting across multiple startup client accounts
Prepare monthly reports and review financial statements
Resolve accounting issues and improve audit-ready processes
Coordinate US and Canadian audit preparation
Build budgets, forecasts, models, and cash flow plans
Requirements: CPA designation and Accounting degree
Five to ten years of progressive accounting experience
Solid full-cycle accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills
Ability to explain complex financial topics clearly
Experience managing multiple client priorities and execution
Bring technical accounting, financial reporting, and founder advisory skills to Toronto startup clients across Web3 and emerging technology.
