Coordinate tender information, subcontractor quotes, and project handovers across Canada as part of SB Canada’s Major Projects estimating team.
Under the Senior Estimator or Estimating Manager, this position connects estimating with construction delivery. You will manage bid correspondence, identify risks, coordinate preliminary schedules, and help transition awarded work. Project support may include scheduling, claims, cost control, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities: Manage tender documents, addenda, and bid correspondence
Level vendor and subcontractor quotations
Review drawings and specifications for quantity takeoffs
Coordinate construction team handover after project award
Participate in site visits and stakeholder meetings
Requirements: Three-plus years of estimating or project coordination experience
Experience in heavy civil or construction environments
Ability to work independently under tender deadlines
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Willingness to travel across Canada as required
Support competitive bids and construction transitions through organized coordination, accurate estimating, and adaptable project delivery support.
