Salary Range: $135,000.00 To $145,000.00 Annually
1 Year Employment Agreement - Hybrid Model
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and support scalable microservices and RESTful APIs in a distributed systems architecture.
Design and implement service-to-service communication patterns, error handling mechanisms, and resilient application architectures.
Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot REST APIs for internal and external system integrations.
Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures, including publishing and consuming events, monitoring message processing, and troubleshooting integration issues.
Design and optimize Cassandra data models, queries, and database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.
Deploy, configure, and support applications running in Kubernetes environments using Helm charts and deployment configurations.
Monitor application health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production and non-production issues across multiple services and environments.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards, design principles, and development best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Manage application configurations and environment-specific deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology,



or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
Strong expertise in: Java (Object-Oriented Programming, Collections Framework, Streams, Exception Handling)
Spring Boot
Microservices Architecture
RESTful API Design and Development
Distributed Systems
Git-Based Source Control

Experience with Cassandra, including: Data Modeling
Partition Keys and Clustering Columns
Query Optimization

Strong understanding of software design patterns and development best practices.
Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues in multi-service environments.

Experience with Dynatrace or similar application performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized applications.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
