Electric Power Engineers seeks a Senior Power System Engineer with 5+ years supporting generation and transmission interconnection. You will manage complex studies, guide engineers, and serve as a technical expert throughout ERCOT interconnection processes. The work includes PSCAD, PSS/E, and TSAT modeling for solar PV, BESS, wind, and conventional projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead generation interconnection efforts across the ERCOT footprint
Identify strategies using system impacts and grid capacity
Perform EMT, benchmarking, and specialized grid studies




Create and validate plant models for multiple technologies
Mentor engineers and support proposals, knowledge, and conferences
Requirements: 5+ years in generation and transmission interconnection
ERCOT process knowledge from filing through commercial operations
PSCAD, PSS/E, and ERCOT Model Quality Testing experience
Solid technical communication and organizational skills
Ability to build internal and external relationships
