Norland seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee complex civil infrastructure projects. You will lead crews, mentor foremen and junior field engineers, coordinate with project managers, and maintain safety, quality, and client service standards.
Key Responsibilities: Develop project-specific safety plans and ensure team compliance
Schedule and direct trades, subcontractors, and construction staff
Mentor foremen and junior field engineers onsite
Create project plans meeting schedules and critical path dates
Resolve site issues and scheduling conflicts
Requirements: Six to ten years leading construction sites and projects
Experience completing complex underground civil utility projects
Background in earthworks, road building, and infrastructure
Experience with peat, running sand, glacial till, and similar soils
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Bring civil infrastructure leadership, safety planning, and project coordination expertise to Copcan Civil projects in Victoria and Nanaimo.
