As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will introduce new products, improve existing procedures, and provide ongoing manufacturing life-cycle support. You will evaluate processes, manage costs, and support technical solutions across Steelcase operations. The work includes process technology, productivity, profitability, and production continuity.
Key Responsibilities: Lead new product introductions into the facility
Evaluate processes to improve labor and material costs
Diagnose production problems and implement timely solutions

and cost-reduction initiatives
Research recent processes, equipment, and technologies
Requirements: Four-year technical degree or equivalent engineering experience
Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
Familiarity with SAP and Windchill ERP systems
Willingness to support production hands-on
Two-plus years of manufacturing experience preferred
Apply manufacturing engineering expertise, process analysis, and production support to improve Steelcase operations and profitability.
