Support geohazard assessments in Calgary with Pembina Pipeline Corporation, combining raw IMU data analysis, pipeline integrity, and digital tools in a hybrid work arrangement.
This Pipeline Integrity Technologist or Engineer in Training reports to the Geotechnical Supervisor within Pembina’s Technical Services team. You will help maintain integrity across 20,000 kilometres of managed pipelines in Western Canada and the Midwest United States. The position supports ILI IMU programs, engineering assessments, and tools built with Python, Microsoft Power Automate, VBA, and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities: Review ILI IMU programs, budgets, and feature libraries
Plot and analyze raw IMU data
Review third-party bending strain and movement reports




Maintain tools for IMU data assessment
Develop pipeline integrity budgets and long-range plans
Requirements: Engineering degree or relevant technologist certification
Minimum three years of relevant technologist experience
Experience with ILI IMU programs
Knowledge of Canadian and United States regulations
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Use geohazard analysis, ILI IMU expertise, and pipeline integrity planning to support Pembina’s Technical Services programs.
