Egis is seeking an Ontario-licensed engineer to develop geotechnical designs for foundations, roadways, slopes, and major projects.
Based in Hamilton, Ontario, the Intermediate Foundations Engineer supports delivery across Canada. The position requires progressive geotechnical design experience in professional services, including large-scale project delivery. It combines engineering analysis, design documentation, project monitoring, and coordination with clients, regulators, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities: Assess foundations, roadways, slopes, and retaining structures
Develop ground improvement solutions for project requirements
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation




Advance assigned work through concept and detailed design
Liaise with clients, regulators, government bodies, and contractors
Requirements: Civil Engineering university degree
Qualified Engineer license in Ontario
At least eight years of geotechnical design experience
Experience in a professional services environment
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Bring Ontario licensure, geotechnical analysis, and project delivery experience to Egis infrastructure work across Canada.
