Build high-fidelity SIEM detections at CrowdStrike using threat research, Python, and AI-assisted workflows within Falcon Complete.
As a Detection Engineer on the Falcon Complete Detection Engineering team, you will develop rules powering managed detection and response. The work spans threat intelligence, hunting, SIEM data, CI/CD, and automation. You will help address emerging threats and detection gaps.
Key Responsibilities: Research threats and hunt for emerging adversary tactics
Develop, test, and deploy Next-Gen SIEM detection rules
Review code and test rules before scaled deployment
Deploy detections as code using CI/CD practices
Build utilities, documentation, and workflow automation
Requirements: Three or more years in detection, security, or intelligence
Knowledge of current threats and SIEM-based detection
Experience analyzing large datasets across vendors and technologies
Experience with SIEM solutions such as LogScale or Splunk
Python, scripting, LLM, or AI coding experience preferred
Apply detection engineering, threat hunting, SIEM, and AI skills to strengthen CrowdStrike’s Falcon Complete services.
