Baycrest Hospital seeks a Director with financial accounting and systems integration expertise for a full time Finance leadership appointment.
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and CFO, this Director leads financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial systems functions. The position oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory reporting, audit coordination, and compliance activities. It also serves as Finance lead for technology, systems, and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead financial accounting, reporting, and financial operations functions
Oversee financial close, reconciliations, accruals, and statements
Coordinate external audits and audit documentation




Lead Finance participation in enterprise systems initiatives
Manage assigned staff and departmental priorities
Requirements: University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Required Chartered Professional Accountant designation
Five years’ related experience in a non-profit organization
Experience with SmartStream, MEDITECH, and Microsoft software
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Lead Baycrest Hospital’s financial integrity and systems transformation through accounting, compliance, reporting, and data governance expertise.
