As a Communications Consultant, you will advise senior leaders and connect organizational goals with audience needs. You will lead internal and external communications, develop researched plans, and create purposeful materials. Your work will support customer service, community and business engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Turn complex issues into explicit, purposeful communications
Develop communications plans grounded in research
Advise senior leaders on strategic communications approaches
Write and edit communications content for varied audiences
Evaluate programs and continuously improve communications
Requirements:



Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, or journalism
Substantial progressively responsible corporate communications experience
Exceptional writing, political acumen, and relationship-building skills
Strong project management, judgment, and critical thinking abilities
Experience supporting change and managing competing priorities
Bring strategic advice, clear writing, research, and evaluation skills to communications serving Kelowna’s community and organizational priorities.
