The Director of Operations & Infrastructure joins the Senior Leadership Team and reports to the Chief Administrative Officer. This executive leader oversees public works, utilities, engineering, fleet services, and asset management. The position advances strategic priorities, service delivery, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure stewardship.
Key Responsibilities: Lead municipal infrastructure, operations, and service delivery across departments
Oversee public works, utilities, engineering, fleet, and asset management
Direct capital projects, infrastructure programs, and municipal service expansion




Prepare operating and capital budgets for Council consideration
Champion the Capital Asset Management Program and continuous improvement
Requirements: Engineering degree, C.E.T., or related equivalent education
Minimum five years of progressive management experience
Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
Robust strategic planning, budgeting, and analytical skills
Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
Lead Gimli’s municipal operations through strategic planning, infrastructure stewardship, asset management, and accountable service delivery.
