This freelance contract suits an experienced apparel designer and developer with high standards for fit, construction, and execution. You will organize development files, resolve technical issues, and help products progress through agreed milestones toward production.
Key Responsibilities: Refine garment designs, construction details, and measurement specifications
Identify construction issues with patternmakers and factories
Prepare approval recommendations and resolve production information
Organize editable files, sample histories, and supplier information




Build prioritized plans and lead sample review rounds
Requirements: Technical design skills covering construction, interpretation, fit, and grading
Experience translating design intent into technical instructions
Ability to cut and sew development samples
Fabric and trim evaluation experience
Availability for in-person sessions and required travel
