Support long-term care residents as a Clinical Director of Care with evidence-based practice knowledge and an active clinical presence.

The Clinical Director of Care reports to the Director of Care and helps provide overall resident care and services. The full time, on-site position coordinates quality initiatives, coaches nursing teams, supports RAI-MDS implementation, and promotes compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain an active presence in resident home areas
- Mentor nursing teams in quality resident care
- Address resident and family concerns promptly
- Support recruitment, retention, and performance management
- Conduct clinical chart and quality indicator reviews

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse certificate of competence or equivalent Canadian registration
- Comprehensive long-term care knowledge
- Comprehensive evidence-based clinical practice knowledge
- Previous long-term care managerial or floor nursing experience
- Ability to motivate, lead, and support team members
