Apex Systems seeks a senior platform engineer for hands-on production support within a growing container team. You will administer Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, modernize legacy platforms, and introduce new clusters. The work spans applications and infrastructure teams across business-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities: Administer OpenShift and Kubernetes production environments across 37 clusters
Perform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
Manage capacity, namespaces, quotas, and access requests
Troubleshoot incidents and support highly available container platforms




Support Redis Cache, Istio, Kafka, Grafana, Tempo, and Dynatrace
Requirements: Five-plus years of enterprise OpenShift or Kubernetes experience
Five-plus years of production application or infrastructure support
Strong Linux or RHEL administration and shell scripting skills
Experience with change and incident management processes
Robust troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
Apply platform operations, Linux administration, and Kubernetes troubleshooting expertise to Apex Systems’ enterprise modernization environment.
