Build production agents for Float’s intelligent financial operating system using frontier models, evaluation, and context management in Toronto’s hybrid workplace.
As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will help create the foundation for Float’s financial agent. The work spans agent infrastructure, product interfaces, and reliable LLM-backed systems. You will turn model intelligence into helpful products for more than 10,000 Canadian companies.
Key Responsibilities: Ship agents from prototype through production at scale
Build context, tools, evaluations, monitoring, and observability
Design permissions, approvals, audit trails, and uncertainty handling
Create chat, generative user interface, and multi-channel experiences




Partner with product teams launching agent capabilities
Requirements: Typically five or more years of software engineering experience
Experience shipping and operating agents or LLM systems
Depth in product engineering or backend agent infrastructure
Current knowledge of models, inference, and context management
Experience working with ownership in growing companies
