Based in BDO’s Toronto office, the Manager works with the Corporate Restructuring team on formal and informal engagements. You will assess liquidity, viability, operational risks, and restructuring alternatives for companies and stakeholders navigating significant change. The position also includes client communication, report preparation, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Manage aspects of receiverships, bankruptcies, proposals, and CCAA proceedings
Advise stakeholders through financial reviews and turnarounds
Identify risks and develop practical restructuring recommendations
Communicate with creditors, lenders,



counsel, regulators, and Courts
Maintain relationships with clients and referral sources
Requirements: Two-plus years of corporate restructuring or insolvency experience
Canadian CPA designation required
CIRP qualification progression and insolvency career interest
Experience with formal or informal restructuring engagements
Clear communication of complex financial matters
Use insolvency knowledge, turnaround judgment, and transparent communication to support BDO clients facing complex financial challenges.
