Strengthen employee relations and HR compliance at Brilliant Harvest through practical guidance on policies, safety, privacy, and performance.
This HR Generalist role reports to the Finance & Operations Manager and supports the complete employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include resolving complaints, interpreting policies, maintaining employment compliance, processing payroll, administering perks, and managing workplace safety. The position is remote-first across Western Canada, ideally Calgary, with periodic in-person Calgary work every two months.
Key Responsibilities: Support performance, retention, coaching, conflict resolution, and policy implementation
Investigate employee complaints and develop action plans
Maintain compliant employment policies and protect personal information




Process WCB claims and year-end assessment reporting
Own HRIS records, CRM support, training, and staff events
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
Five-plus years of progressive HR experience
Knowledge of Alberta employment standards, OHS, WCB, human rights, and privacy
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
CPHR designation or progress toward it is a bonus
Use sound judgment, compliance knowledge, and employee relations expertise to support Brilliant Harvest’s evolving people operations.
