Manufacturing procurement is at the center of this full-time hybrid Buyer role in Scarborough, Ontario, requiring at least three onsite days weekly. Coordinate purchasing and production planning across custom projects.
As Buyer, you will own purchasing requirements from development through manufacturing. You will identify suppliers, evaluate competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, manage purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules. Working with Project Management, Cost Estimation, Account Management, and Production, you will anticipate supply risks and keep materials aligned with manufacturing needs.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate purchasing activities across multiple active projects
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory information in ERP
Secure supplier capacity, pricing, quality, and delivery performance




Expedite materials and adjust delivery plans when required
Communicate sourcing updates across internal project teams
Requirements: Purchasing experience with custom-manufactured products or components
Experience managing purchase orders and delivery timelines
Ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery expectations
Comfort managing changing requirements and tight deadlines
Transparent communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Use procurement coordination, ERP experience, and supplier communication to support custom manufacturing production in Scarborough.
