As a Maintenance Class B-1 team member, you will maintain mechanical assets to a high standard. Responsibilities include planned maintenance, asset repairs, installations, plant improvements, and daily mechanical asset operation. You will follow safety, risk management, legal, and statutory requirements while updating computerized maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities: Perform planned maintenance on mechanical plant assets
Repair breakdowns promptly in operational plant areas
Complete installations and mechanical plant improvements
Maintain daily operation of mechanical assets




Update records using the computerized maintenance system
Requirements: Inter-Provincial Journeyman’s Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate
Current registration with Manitoba Department of Labour
Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform emergency repairs in operational areas
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Use millwright training, troubleshooting ability, and safety focus to maintain Diageo’s mechanical assets at the Gimli Plant.
