The Nurse Practitioner works with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver medical care and treatment to women. Reporting to the Maternal Child Manager, the position contributes to an cutting-edge integrated care model. Responsibilities include program planning, client outcomes, education, leadership, and community collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Provide primary care as a physician extender
Deliver goal-directed interventions with healthcare teams
Maintain relationships with community service organizations
Delegate appropriately and mentor healthcare team members




Provide prenatal care and hand over to appropriate providers
Requirements: Registered and in good standing with the regulating body
Minimum three years’ obstetrical patient experience
Program development and education experience
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices
Adaptability, regular attendance, and workload prioritization
Bring women’s health, program development, and evidence-based practice experience to integrated maternal-child services at Timmins and District Hospital.
