Build project finance analysis for wind, solar, and storage investments with Horizon New Energy in Calgary, supporting Canada-wide growth.
This Business Analyst evaluates opportunities from early development through construction and operations. You will model project economics, assess PPA pricing, develop financial structures, and analyze valuations and project metrics. Collaborate with Calgary colleagues and CIP’s Current York Investment team on consistent, high-quality analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Develop financial models supporting investment and financing decisions
Prepare valuation, DCF, and project financial analysis
Support project finance funding and transaction closings
Develop business cases for acquisitions and offtake agreements




Create concise materials for internal approvals and meetings
Requirements: Two to five years of relevant financial analysis experience preferred
Experience with complex pro forma models required
Project finance, valuation, or due diligence experience advantageous
Strong Excel, VBA, and PowerPoint capabilities required
Finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or engineering degree
Apply project finance, valuation, modelling, and communication skills to renewable energy investments managed through Horizon and CIP.
