The Senior Pharmacy Technician is responsible for pharmacy department services and activities established by the applicable College of Pharmacists. Duties span prescription processing, medication preparation, verification, documentation, billing, scheduling, shipping, and temperature monitoring. You will support patients and healthcare teams, manage outstanding accounts, and follow Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements. The role may back up regulated technician functions as required.
Key Responsibilities: Bill prescriptions and maintain required supporting documentation
Manage calendars, appointments, dispensing, and shipping schedules




Ensure medications reach appropriate destinations promptly
Assist inventory management and reconciliation activities
Monitor temperatures and report variances to operations management
Requirements: Pharmacy Technician Diploma
Practicing license in valuable standing with the applicable College
Minimum one year pharmaceutical or retail pharmacy experience
Technical skills using Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Validated aseptic training is an asset
Use pharmacy operations, prescription billing, medication preparation, and regulatory knowledge to support accurate McKesson services.
