Lead complex mine waste and water quality projects with Stantec from Victoria, Sidney, Burnaby, Markham, Waterloo, or another office.

This Senior Geochemist role combines project leadership, technical interpretation, and client guidance within Stantec’s Environmental Services Group. You will manage complex work independently while collaborating across disciplines on mine planning, environmental assessments, contaminant investigations, and rehabilitation.

The position supports health, safety, security, and environmental program participation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex geochemistry and water quality projects
- Manage multidisciplinary teams supporting mining projects
- Provide technical advice for mine planning and design




- Conduct fieldwork and support environmental monitoring
- Review technical documents and prepare project reports

Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant earth science
- Ten-plus years of mining-sector consulting experience
- Experience in mine waste assessment or water quality modeling
- Skilled registration or eligibility as P. Geo. or P. Eng.
- Microsoft Office and technical software proficiency
