The City of Brampton seeks a Supervisor, Horticulture for Community Services’ Parks Maintenance & Forestry division. This management role coordinates horticultural operations, supervises union and non-union staff, and supports consistent service delivery.

It requires horticulture expertise, staff leadership, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan schedules and supervise Horticultural Services staff
- Coordinate floral, plant, and landscape maintenance throughout the City
- Develop annual plans and standard operating procedures
- Oversee contractors, specifications, performance, and payment approvals




- Coordinate Flower City Strategy and related initiatives

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Horticulture or Landscape Technology
- Five to seven years’ practical urban horticultural experience
- Three to five years supervising horticulture staff
- Landscape Pesticide License and valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence
- Experience in unionized environments and greenhouse operations
