Within Client Account Management, you will support Recovery Operations across CIBC’s Retail and Business Banking Group. This position manages an insolvency portfolio through document review, account research, and appropriate risk-mitigation actions. You will maintain information needed for timely, correct Proof of Claims filing.
Key Responsibilities: Review bankruptcy and insolvency documents from Licensed Insolvency Trustees
Determine classifications, write-offs, and appropriate account actions
Research, validate, and update information across internal systems




Identify missing accounts and resolve information discrepancies
Process high work volumes while escalating exceptions promptly
Requirements: Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced Excel skills
Critical thinking for complex information and problems
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow up
Apply investigation, account processing, advanced Excel, and organizational skills to support CIBC’s insolvency portfolio in Toronto.
