Support water infrastructure design and project management with MPE’s Water Resources team, based in preferred Sudbury or elsewhere in Ontario. Hydropower and drainage experience matter.
This Junior Civil Engineer position addresses diverse water resource projects and client needs. Desired practice areas include hydropower, dams, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines, irrigation, and river engineering. The work combines technical design, contract administration, construction supervision, and communication.
Key Responsibilities: Manage water resource projects and construction activities
Produce planning reports, drawings, specifications, and contracts
Administer construction contracts and supervise field work
Complete design engineering assignments




Maintain close client relationships throughout projects
Requirements: Civil or Environmental Engineering Bachelor’s degree
Registration with PEO or another provincial regulator
P.Eng. or E.I.T. designation
Zero to four years’ project experience desired
Leadership, project management, and client management experience
Bring engineering communication, design, and project management capabilities to MPE’s water infrastructure and resource assignments in Ontario.
