Drive five-ton furniture deliveries for The Brick in Nanaimo, using route planning, vehicle inspections, and customer-focused service daily.
This regular full time Fleet Driver position supports The Brick’s expanding delivery team. Responsibilities include scheduling routes, loading products, and completing customer-home deliveries. You will also assemble products as required, document mileage and fuel costs, and complete driver check-in procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Route and schedule furniture and appliance deliveries
Inspect, load, and protect products before delivery
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections before routes
Lift, carry, and assemble products in customers’ homes
Record mileage, fuel costs, and encountered problems
Requirements: Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Current driver’s abstract
Ability to regularly lift and carry merchandise exceeding 50 pounds
Customer service-oriented approach with excellent communication
Flexibility for evenings and weekends, as required
Bring organized delivery execution, safe driving, and customer service skills to The Brick’s Nanaimo Fleet team.
