This Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment supporting local and highway operations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across Volvo, Freightliner, and International trucks. Responsibilities also include replacing defective components, inspecting equipment, and keeping accurate maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities: Perform servicing on engines, transmissions, brakes, and drivetrains
Repair or replace defective components with appropriate tools
Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic equipment issues




Maintain accurate repair and parts records
Report fleet status and maintenance needs to supervisors
Requirements: Proficiency using diagnostic equipment and power tools
Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
Basic welding skills and tire maintenance experience
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended work
Compliance with the COR-certified safety program
