Support Indigenous student recruitment at NAIT through community relationships, outreach campaigns, and personalized applicant guidance. This full-time position is onsite at Main Campus.
As Indigenous Recruitment Specialist with the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre, you will support NAIT’s Indigenous enrolment and inclusion objectives. The role combines recruitment strategy, event coordination, communications, and relationship building. You will work with the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre and Student Recruitment teams while coordinating IGNITE.
Key Responsibilities: Develop operational plans aligned with Indigenous recruitment strategy
Plan and present Indigenous student recruitment events
Follow up with qualified leads and coordinate outreach campaigns




Build relationships with Indigenous communities across Alberta and Canada
Coordinate the IGNITE Program
Requirements: Post-secondary diploma and considerable related experience
Three to five years of related experience required
Knowledge of Indigenous languages, protocols, and customs
Robust communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle
Bring Indigenous recruitment, outreach, and relationship-building expertise to advance applicant support and enrolment at NAIT.
