Lead overnight dispatch operations in Sherwood Park with Ryder, using routing, customer service, and administrative coordination skills. Work Monday through Friday, 11pm to 7:30am.
As an Overnight Dispatcher, you will provide front-line supervision and administrative support for Ryder’s location. Assign work to non-exempt personnel while supporting daily operational goals. Responsibilities include payroll and billing, driver communications, safety compliance, routing, and KPI reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Assign work to non-exempt personnel overnight
Handle customer requests and elevate issues appropriately
Coordinate dispatch, routing, and driver communications
Review DOT logs and submit required documentation
Maintain attendance, vacation, and accounts payable records
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required
One year in warehouse, transportation, logistics, or distribution required
One year of customer service experience required
Knowledge of routing and dispatching software preferred
Understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred
Bring overnight supervision, dispatch coordination, safety compliance, and customer service skills to Ryder’s Sherwood Park location.
