As a Registered Practical Nurse in the General Internal Medicine Clinical Teaching Unit, you will care for less complex clients with predictable outcomes. The position supports acute medical care and geriatric assessment within an interdisciplinary team. You will recognize changing acuity, consult Registered Nurses, and provide supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative, or rehabilitation care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for clients with health conditions
Assess care needs and support optimal function
Recognize changes in acuity or client complexity




Consult Registered Nurses when determining next steps
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration required
Practical nursing diploma with intravenous medication education
Current BCLS/HCP certification required
Knowledge of transfers, lifts, and patient information systems
Recent acute medical nursing experience preferred
Bring practical nursing expertise, clinical assessment, and collaborative care skills to the General Internal Medicine team at Charlton Campus.
