This regulated technician assists with prescription preparation, pharmacy services, and daily Pharmacy operations. You will enter prescription data, select medications, count or measure products, and package and label prescriptions according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Customer privacy and pharmacist referrals remain central to service.
Key Responsibilities: Gather prescription information according to required Standards
Accurately dispense, package, label, and process medications
Enter prescriptions and manage refill request processing




Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists
Maintain dispensary cash, documentation, and pharmacy systems
Requirements: Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Effective organizational and multitasking skills
