This Employee Communications Specialist position supports HR communications across Stantec, translating learning and organizational development priorities into meaningful communication experiences. You will adapt messages across channels, collaborate with leaders and communications teams, and support behavior change. The 12-month contract is anticipated to end in December 2027, with eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities: Understand audience needs, language considerations, and operational priorities
Adapt messages for different audiences, channels, and formats
Communicate to inform, engage, align, and support behavior change




Collaborate with marketing, public relations, digital, design, and video teams
Coordinate communications work across shifting priorities and timelines
Requirements: Five or more years of communications-related experience
Experience within or closely with Human Resources considered an asset
Ability to communicate with partners at all levels
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Large global organization experience considered an asset
Use audience-focused writing, strategic thinking, and HR communications experience to support Stantec employees and organizational initiatives.
