Island Health has an opening for a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist in the community of Duncan.

Cowichan District Hospital is a 134-bed facility in Duncan, serving 90,000 people, with 550 deliveries per year. The current Quw'utsun Valley Hospital is expected to be completed in 2027 and will bring added inpatientcapacity in excess of 200 beds, as well as expanded OR andICU capacity.We plan forstate-of-the-art equipment and design.Duncan is a thriving young community with ample opportunities for a varied obstetrics/gynecology practice. We provide consultative obstetrical services to a dynamic group of family physicians and midwives. Call is 1 in 5, from home. We currently have 2-3 OR days per week, and are seeking someone with an interest in minimally invasive surgery.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)

Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)

Fee Premium: 4.20%

Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
