Work on-site in Ontario with Forbes Bros. Group, operating heavy machinery through project rotations, frequent overtime, and required travel between sites.
The Equipment Operator supports major transmission and distribution infrastructure projects across Ontario. This full time, temporary role involves loaders, dozers, telehandlers, graders, excavators, Lodrils, and vibratory hammers. You will complete checks, maintain equipment, follow project requirements, and collaborate with crews under Foreman or Lead Hand direction.
Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment assigned to construction activities
Complete pre-use and post-use safety and maintenance checks
Read and follow site plans and equipment manuals




Advise the Fleet Foreman about maintenance or repair needs
Secure equipment safely when not in use
Requirements: Three to five years operating heavy equipment
Experience with excavators, loaders, skid steers, and crawler tractors
Ability to work effectively with construction crews
Ontario Class G or Class AZ licence is an asset
Crane certification or lifting equipment training is an asset
Use heavy machinery expertise, equipment care, and construction teamwork across Forbes Bros. Group’s Ontario project rotations.
