Support homeless adults at Pauline Shelter in Abbotsford as a full-time temporary Shelter Case Worker focused on crisis support and referrals.
Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks a Shelter Case Worker reporting to the Site Manager. You will provide direct support within drop-in and peer support services for adults facing homelessness, addictions, and mental health challenges. The position runs Monday through Friday, from 0800 to 1600 hours.
Key Responsibilities: Support, supervise, and assist homeless adults facing multiple barriers
Assess needs and develop adaptable plans addressing basic requirements
Refer guests to community services following crisis support
Complete required records and maintain statistical data




Contribute to shelter health and safety responsibilities
Requirements: Related diploma or certificate, or Grade 12 with two years’ experience
Familiarity with addiction, mental health, welfare, and harm reduction resources
Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
Strong case planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance and respirator fit testing
