Lead operations for E.G. Penner Building Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba, using logistics and inventory expertise to strengthen daily execution across the business.
As Vice President of Operations, you will report to the President and join the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead managers and teams across warehousing, purchasing, inventory, logistics, delivery, fleet, facilities, maintenance, and health and safety. The mandate includes operational strategy, customer experience, budgets, capital investments, technology, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Develop organization-wide operational strategy aligned with growth and customer commitments
Lead, coach, and develop six operational department managers
Oversee warehousing, inventory, delivery, fleet, facilities, and safety




Establish KPIs improving productivity, service, cost, and performance
Partner with senior leaders on planning and strategic initiatives
Requirements: 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
At least five years at a senior leadership level
Experience leading large, multifunctional teams through managers
Knowledge of logistics, inventory, supply chain, and planning
Experience with ERP systems and operational data
Bring executive operations leadership, commercial judgment, and customer-focused execution to E.G. Penner’s established Steinbach business.
