As a Security Officer, you will protect guests and employees while minimizing opportunities for loss or damage across the property. Daily work includes investigating theft, lost items, complaints, accidents, suspicious activity, and alarms. Robust judgment, confidentiality, accurate records, and knowledge of hotel facilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct investigations and complete detailed documented reports
Review shift logs, hotel status, and follow-up actions
Investigate duress alarms and suspicious hotel property activity
Report vehicle accidents, thefts, fights,



and guest incidents
Coordinate with police, agencies, and hotel leadership
Requirements: Three to five years in security or directly related work
High school diploma and British Columbia Security License
Basic Security Training and Occupational First Aid 2
Current CPR, AED, and Class 5 British Columbia licence
Microsoft Office proficiency and knowledge of hotel procedures
Use investigation, documentation, and sound decision making to help preserve safety and service at Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
