School District 72 is hiring a Temporary Education Assistant in its Intensive Behaviour program. You will work with teachers and a transdisciplinary team to support learning plans, inclusion, and protected environments. Duties include reinforcing lesson concepts, guiding social interactions, and monitoring behaviour plans.
Key Responsibilities: Support safe, inclusive classroom and community integration
Reinforce appropriate behaviours during school activities
Assist inclusion during recess and lunch periods
Observe, record, and follow up on behaviour plans




Discuss student progress and adaptations with teachers
Requirements: Educational Assistant training or relevant post-secondary education
Two years’ experience with children needing special education
Knowledge of child abuse protocols and reporting procedures
Computer literacy and Microsoft 365 experience
Ability to build positive student relationships
Use academic support, social guidance, and teamwork to strengthen inclusive learning for students in Campbell River.
