Within Laboratory Services, this temporary full time position supports the Biochemistry Laboratory through routine and specialized body-fluid analysis. The role includes specimen identification, sample processing, report review, data entry, and clinical guidance. Shifts rotate across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and specialized biochemistry analysis of body fluids
Maintain specimen integrity through proper patient identification
Handle, sort, and store laboratory samples
Review patient reports and enter laboratory data
Provide guidance to students,



nursing, and medical staff
Requirements: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant degree
Graduation from a recognized accredited educational program
Current CSMLS certification as general or applicable subject MLT
Current registration with the NL Council of Health Professionals
Satisfactory record of work performance
