About the Role
Our client, a well-established provider of commercial cleaning services in Kimberley, Northern Cape , is looking for a dedicated and proactive Commercial Cleaning Operations Lead. This role is essential for overseeing the day-to-day operations of cleaning teams across various commercial properties. The Operations Lead will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, managing staff performance, optimizing schedules, and maintaining positive client relationships. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of cleaning best practices, and the ability to motivate a team. You will be key in maintaining our client's reputation for reliability and quality service delivery throughout Kimberley and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of cleaning professionals, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Develop and implement cleaning schedules and assign duties to team members to meet client requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of work, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of equipment and supplies.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety,



and environmental regulations in the Northern Cape .

Implement company policies and procedures to maintain operational consistency and quality.

Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing timely solutions.

Foster a positive and productive work environment for the cleaning team.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a cleaning team.

Solid understanding of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to cleaning services.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Positive communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and client interaction.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are beneficial for site visits within Kimberley .

Flexibility to work varied hours as required by operational needs.
