Support Brandon University’s campus upkeep through custodial cleaning, grounds maintenance, and snow removal. This full-time position requires dependable physical capability across wide-ranging shifts.
The Building Service Worker I works within the Physical Plant, reporting to the Director of Physical Plant. You will maintain cleanliness throughout university facilities and residences while completing assigned service tasks. Work includes floor treatment, washroom cleaning, garbage disposal, furniture moving, and outdoor upkeep.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness throughout Brandon University facilities
Change lightbulbs and complete other assigned duties
Make beds within university residences
Move furniture and maintain campus grounds




Remove snow and ice during seasonal conditions
Requirements: Grade 12 or GED, or equivalent education and experience
Two years institutional cleaning and groundskeeping experience preferred
Physical ability to bend, lift, push, pull, and climb ladders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Class 5 driver's license and required background checks
