Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a permanent Dietary Aide for Nutrition and Food Services. Under direction, you will prepare, serve, and distribute meals to clients, staff, and visitors. The position includes cashier duties, sanitation practices, therapeutic and texture-modified diets, and established policies.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare nutritious meals safely for clients
Serve meals to clients, staff, and visitors
Distribute meals according to established standards
Perform cashier duties and manage cash
Follow sanitation guidelines and departmental procedures
Requirements: Six months’ food handling or healthcare food services experience
Minimum Grade 10 education
Dietary Aide certificate
Food Handler Training Level 1 certificate or equivalent
Knowledge of therapeutic and texture-modified diets
Bring dietary service, cashier, and sanitary food handling skills to Southern Health-Santé Sud’s Vita & District Health Centre.
