This non-qualified SC4 Youth Engagement Worker role sits within a Social Care team. You will promote youth wellbeing through engagement, emotional support, and meaningful activities. The work involves multidisciplinary collaboration, accurate records, and support for vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities: Engage young people through individual and group activities
Build trusting relationships and provide emotional guidance
Assist with social care programs meeting youth needs
Monitor and report safeguarding concerns appropriately
Maintain records of interactions, progress, and incidents
Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate, empathetic approach to social care
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Organized approach to priorities and detailed records
Awareness of safeguarding and confidentiality practices
