Housing market expertise and landlord engagement define this full-time Housing Finder role with SLCS at London’s HART Hub. Work across office and community settings.
You will support participants experiencing or at risk of homelessness and facing addiction or mental health challenges. The position builds relationships, identifies needs, searches for housing, and connects participants with safe, permanent options. Collaboration with agencies, healthcare supports, and community partners advances the HART Hub mandate.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct housing searches and build landlord relationships
Create and maintain a housing stock portfolio
Assess units against bylaws and building code requirements
Advocate for participants during initial landlord viewings




Maintain statistical data and identify housing trends
Requirements: Post-secondary education or relevant social services experience
Knowledge of Housing First and Residential Tenancy Act
Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
First Aid and CPR with AED, Level C
Valid G licence and reliable vehicle access
Apply housing knowledge, trauma-informed practice, and advocacy skills while connecting London participants with secure permanent housing.
